selling flowers this late and music

The music woke me up. Speakers on a motor bike kind of blocking the road and there are two different sets of people selling flowers at this time of night. almost midnight?? I have never seen this before, what am I missing??? Daniel??

Well turns out Mothers Day is tomorrow. a couple of shops are open along with the regular chap that sells flowers here every Friday and several other folks setting up shop. It is now 1 Am. I talked to them and they will stay open all night and gave have a huge trade in the morning. here are some pics. Can't believe i got out of bed and dressed to do this.]

So this was fun. A group of people were wondering around singing to music blasting from the back of a bike and kissing all the moms in town. So cute. Good heavens. It is almost 2 AM NightView My Video

I think this custom in Mexico is called "Maņanitas" where folks walk/drive around town serenading the mothers in the wee hours of the morning.

I would like 4 pink stargazer lilies, por favor! Mexicans really know how to have fun: shopping for flowers at night! I guess I better stay till Mother's Day next year!
