Hurricane Christina

Even though Hurricane Christina isn't coming onshore (so they think ) she sure sent us one heck of a storm last night. At 6am this morning my rain gauge had 4 inches. That was quite the light show.

Indeed, and the power went off twice, once for 10 min around 2:30 then
for a few hours around 3 or so.

Thunder and lightning here in Merida too this afternoon.
Satellite just went out so don't know what's next. This is
pretty typical for summer Yucatan weather but a little early
this year. Miss you guys and wish I could be there to catch
some rain for you.
