Shipping to Manzanillo & Customs Costs

Hello,
I was thinking of shipping some household effects from Canada to Manzanillo. These would be my own, personal, used goods, and I wonder if I will be facing any hassle or customs costs on their arrival in Mexico. Anybody with any experience answer please?

There is a website through customs that lists what you can and cannot bring.it includes the percentage of tax applicable to specific items.good luck :-)

I have found that if I ship something "used", like an old iPhone even if it still being sold and works, I have nothing to pay. But I just sent down a new Android phone still in its original box and got slammed with a 50% duty. I should have taken it out of the box and hand wrapped it I guess
So...what ever thats worth
