Thieve (maybe the same woman who was stealing in La Manzanilla.

Somebody posted on Facebook about this woman, who was stopped by the woman who is holding her, she stole her shop, and when was registered by the police, she had several wallets on her purse, supossedly stolen to other people. I think it fits the description made when a woman was stealing and breaking in houses in la Manzanilla. If she is, you can go and report on the police station in Cihuatlán.

Who ever took this should be a news reporter, they got the hair cuff and the
police coming in the background. I can't say if I have seen her before or not.
Great post Paul, thank you.

The suspect seems to be saying "What are you looking at?"
And check out the attitude of the captor, seen by her stance.
I don't know that I would choose neon pink if I were trying to shoplift.
I agree, amazing pic!!!

Judy will know if she is the Lamanz gal, they had an up close encounter.

My impression of her description was more in the light weight class whereas this gal would have problems making the scales for the middle weights.

At Tikal, William Bronk

Mountains they knew, and jungle, the sun, the stars --

these seemed to be there. But even after they slashed

the jungle and burned it and planted the comforting corn,

they were discontent. They wanted the shape of things.

They imagined a world and it was as if it were there

-- a world with stars in their places and rain that came

when they called. It closed them in. Stone by stone,

as they built this city, these temples, they built this world.

They believed it. This was the world, and they,

of course, were the people. Now trees make up

assemblies and crowd in the wide plazas. Trees

climb the stupendous steps and rubble them.

In the jungle, the temples are little mountains again.

It is always hard like this, not having a world,

to imagine one, to go to the far edge

apart and imagine, to wall whether in

or out, to build a kind of cage for the sake

of feeling the bars around us, to give shape to a world.

And oh, it is always a world and not the world.
