A shortened story

Last Wednesday I took my car to the mechanic because it was running rough.
Within 2 hours the car was not running at all and I had to take a taxi home.
7 day's later I picked my car up from the mechanic at a cost of $3,400 pesos.
My car runs exactly the same as it did when I dropped it off, and I am very
happy to have it home.

No, it wasn't and I am hesitant to say who it was as I think the real problem
was caused by the mechanic before him. As I said it is a shortened story but it
speaks volumes in the last sentence.
