Comfortably Numb

The Mexican four week vacation apparently ended yesterday, as there were no banana boats today in the bay. I enjoyed the past month at the beach watching families, sometimes four generations, all enjoying la playa.
This is my first summer in LM, and I heard that I would be miserable due to the heat and humidity. It hasn't happened so far, at least in my opinion, (my wife, Kathy disagrees). What I have felt is a perpetual languor, when I could spend hours literally doing nothing.
So, my routine is to swim out to the buoy in front of Sra. Aceves twice a day. Replenish with tonic water (fortified), take out the trash, bring in the water bottles, cut back the jungle.
At the end of the day, sitting upstairs, I am truly (with apologies to Pink Floyd) comfortably numb.
A good summer.

I am not numb! I am uncomfortably hot and sticky! Otherwise, I do really like it here in the summer time. Muy tranquilo!
