Perhaps Mexico can avoid this.

Here are the results for a Google search on Monsanto Mexico using the
filter of the last 24 hours. I don't recognize even one of the sources. Not to
say its not true but to notice it not being covered by more known sources.

Keep searching Daniel. But are you really searching for confirmation of good news, or are you a nay-sayer?

I don't recognize any of those sources. I wouldn't consider myself a naysayer,
more to the point just noticing no main stream, or even semi main stream sources
are covering this. Where are the articles in even semi popular Mexico news sources?
And then the next question, why are they not mentioning it?

Follow some of the links I posted. They actually refer to the judicial archive and the names of the deciding judges. By the way, how's your spanish?

I'd wager that Davison Collins recognizes this name. Think Dr. Concha is blowing smoke?

That is an opinion from the 21st of June 2014. Where is the coverage of
the news you originally posted?

Your missing the point. I am not questioning the validity of the story, I am
questioning why its not being covered by popular sources of news. I have never
even heard of any of the sites you listed or that are listed on the Google results.

For example nothing showing up from

http://www.reforma.com/

http://www.informador.com.mx/

Gee Daniel, have you ever heard of censorship? Or vested corporate interests in obfuscating the truth? Think maybe Monsanto has some pull in the corporate media? I'm beginning to wonder if you actually read what I posted, followed the links, and what words you're searching to get at the information....You probably believe Putin invaded the Ukraine too, according to "the Mainstream Media" that's the story. I encourage you to employ your skeptical nature on the right side of the discussion. You like GMO food? You think Mexicans are asleep at the switch?

Enjoy your tasteless, pulpy, toxic Monsanto GMO elote. Happy to say I've enjoyed some great non-GMO, certified organic, sweet white corn off the grill this summer. Gotta be your own advocate in this life, y'know? Next we'll discuss how Fukushima is killing the Pacific Ocean... Denial is powerful tool in the hands of a professional.

Daniel, your patience, restraint, and reasoning are exemplary here. I'm reading the pdf white paper you linked. It's spot-on, and a really good read.

Here's a Wikipedia entry on The Dunning-Kruger Effect that I think also applies here.
