Las Olas Grande

If you live in town, and haven't done so yet, you must go to the beach and view the amazing waves. I imagine if you live up on the hills you can see the large swells, but I don't think you can appreciate from that distance just what a show the ocean is putting on.

During the downpour I went to Pedro's, which was closed (for obvious reason) as the storm surge was coming into his kitchen area. Chico gave me a seat so I could enjoy the action. And, I did.

So, take a bottle of tequila down to Daniels, or wherever, and experience this awesome spectacle. Just don't expect to stay dry.

if you were that close to the lagoon is the road gone that joins beach road to town???

Yes, as usual, the road from LM to the southern parts is completely washed away. You can walk there over the swinging bridge. But if you need to drive, you would have to take Hwy 200 and drive the beach road back.
