tours from La Manzanilla

Posted by Donna on September 30, 2014, 6:23 pm

Last winter when I visited, some people who have been coming to La Manzanilla for many years were taking some excursions with a tour operator that they liked. Can anyone tell me the name of that company? We'll be there again this winter and may try some different trips out of town this year. Thanks, Donna from Chico

Hello Donna,

We have taken on tour many people from la Manzanilla.

Have you checked our website: www.AdmireMexicoTours.com

We run adventure and cultural tours in Colima/Comala.

What our visitorŽs have done is that they either take the ETN bus from Barra de Navidad to Colima, we pick them up at the bus station and we go on tour and drop them back at the bus station so they can have dinner back home at la Manzanilla.

We can do tours from 2 persons and up.

Another option is that people overnight in Comala/Colima and take advantage of all the activities in this area.

If you have any question, please send us an email at: AdmireMexicoTours@hotmail.com

You can also see our reviews at tripadvisor please search: Admire Mexico Tours DMC

There are also local excursions with Dave Collins in la Manzanilla, he offers great birding tours.

Hope this info helps.

Saludos!

Jupiter has excellent tours of the volcanoes as well as coffee and hacienda tours. His bed and breakfast in Comala is great, too!

Great info, thank you all. Yes, we loved the mangrove tour and have done it twice. I want to do the whale watching too. In my original post I was looking for suggestions to venture further out so will be contacting Jupiter about the volcano tour and checking out what Eco has to offer. Cool to have so many options!Thank you

What about La Manz' own Davison Collins? He conducts excellent tours of, for example, the mangrove and whale-watching in the Tenacatita Bay. His office is across the street from Lidia's abarrotes. I imagine that he will be back in business come the high season.

Hey, Thanks for recommendations! We will indeed be offering our classic mangrove birding tour and our whale watching tours this season. As well, weŽll be offering the Cuzalapa Coffee and birding tour, and a number of other birding and wildlife tours. I will announce our new website address soon.
