Bookstore updates...

Posted by stephanie on October 15, 2014, 12:27 pm

I have just received several emails from folks returning from the North for the Winter season asking what can they bring....well...here's what on our wish list this year.

If you have room for those books that you enjoyed reading this past summer, please bring them. Even one or two in your luggage would help us with more recent books.

We would also welcome any children's books, especially those bilingual books that can be shared with both communities.

Current magazines are also welcome...those we buy in the airport for the plane ride are great! Seems both National Geographic and Smithsonian are the most popular..oh and Vanity Fair!

Thanks to the volunteers who kept the bookstore open this summer. Barb has returned and the store is clean and tidy and ready for our 11th season.

We will also be a drop off place for those bringing school supplies.

See you soon and safe travels, Stephanie

Hola,
I will see if Genese or Valkyrie will carry a couple donations in their luggage from me.

And, as grateful as we are, no hardcover books, please.

Thanks Vicki...PLEASE no hardcover books. They clog our shelves and take the space we could use for other books that move!!!!!!!

Hasta pronto, Stephanie
