Horses and Baseball

Most of you readers know that our baseball league has to share the sports field with the soccer teams in town. What you might not know is that we also have to share the field with dogs, goats, and the occasional horse. Makes for interesting games. I was surprised however to learn that the L.A. Dodgers had to face the same problem. Here's how they solved it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlVr45CHOuA So, volunteer coaches--whada ya think??

Can't really see the horses batting, but can totally see them pinch running. Dogs might be good in the outfield, but they'd have to run it in. Pitching just wouldn't work. It's that "opposable thumb" thing. Lyn P.S. Couldn't really catch either, which is too bad. Think of the blocking the plate thing! Lyn
