autopisto cost

We are considering driving from Vancouver Island to La Manz. What are the "toll" fees on the autopisto once we cross the USA/ Mx border? Any info on this drive would be useful.

They vary, both in spacing and tolls. Once south of Mazatlan, I much preferred the libres...much more interesting and safer I felt.

Hi there. We have driven it for the last few years. The tolls will run you about $120.00 or so.

Last year, in November 2013, our trip from the Mexican border to La Manzanilla, using the toll roads, cost 1086 pesos. The rates were slightly increased on our way home in April.

It's called traza tu ruta. Look here:

I enter the starting city in Mexico, like Nogales, Sonora; the destination like Melaque, Jalisco.
Give the type of vehicle and immediately I get a printout of the route with Km and Hrs between points and location and cost of each toll booth.
The driving times are highly optimistic. I add at least 50% but I do drive slower than most.
