you can get the primera plus (gold bus) from pv to Melaque for $26.oo and then 14 pesos on the bus from Melaque
note. the primera plus leaves the Pv station at 8am and is the first class bus...
splitting a cab will be spendy if you chose that mode of transportation.
and yes, it is more than safe...

Hi Dottie, Yes there are cabs right where you get off the bus. The fare is $140 pesos. Have a great trip.

Dottie. imperative that you do not miss the 8am bus out of Pv. u can go to primeraplus.com.mx/ and make a reservation. website is more than funky but usually lets you make it...

Ps. the bus to LM is 14pesos and can be had right across the street from the primera plus station, same as cabs but much cheaper.
