The beach in La Manz. is as nice as you could want a beach to be. Gently sloping, waves usually not that big, lots of sand, 4 miles long, perfect to stroll up and not crowded. And top it all off with the most glorious sunset every night. The beach there is the main reason that I go to La Manz. Quite simply... it's perfect!!

Bring goggles, snorkel if you like - lots of sea life - even a small reef! As Pablo says , fantastic for swimming. There are jellyfish at times AND... broken strands that some are sensitive to. You may think of getting a "rash guard" at a dive shop or try swimoutlet.com.

It is very rare that it is not very calm and clear in the morning, usually til 11 or so. I like swim just outside the break line. You can usually see ripples in the sand below that act like lane lines. The water temp this time of year is perfect.
