Maybe. Can you be more specific about what you need help with? Do you need information? Someone to fly with you? Someone to translate? Are you trying to bring the dog in a crate, or are you hoping to get it in the cabin with you? Is it a big dog, or small? Mexican, or Canadian? It'll help get your questions answered if you can tell us more clearly what you're hoping to do.

Solomon, could you clarify for me whether or not the documents required by Mexican Pet immigration need to be a certain size? We have the vet health certificate, the rabies and distemper certificate, even a microchip which I wonder if anywhere near La Manz could read. This is of course for a Canadian dog coming to Mexico in the cabin.

We flew into PV this year with an in-the-cabin dog. we had a current health cert, current rabis document and that was all we needed. one suggestion.....get a couple of copies of each before you fly, might save you a few minutes as you clear him in customs. They want to keep the origional, and you will need copies later as you get the health cert. to leave.

From Canada, whether an "in the cabin" or "in their crate below", Mexico expects a trilingual certificate. Here's the link:

Have 3 copies, all signed by your vet and the Canadian Food Inspection agency. I have done this the 7 years I've brought cats and dogs over the border and I've never had a problem.

Hope this helps.

Let's please get this information correct. You do not need an inspection certificate from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. According their web site, they will for a fee, give you one, which may or may not help at Mexican customs.

What you do need is a certificate of health abd rabies vacination certificate which need to meet the timelines.
The certificate of health must be on the vet's letterhead and include the license number of the vet.

While some immigration points may requre multiple languages in the form, ours have always been in English only.

Also, be sure to present the original copies - copies not accepted.
