There is a big difference between building a foot bridge and a vehicle bridge. Mucho pesos, so who pays for it? The ejido wouldnt and La Heurta would likely need state or federal funding to undertake such an expensive project. But they can't even fix an ambulance engine. Yes, a bridge would be a great benefit to the few foreigners who live over there, plus the Mexican tourists who sometimes camp there. But, do the math. It likely won't happen.
