For the past 5 years the only reason there is a road is because Poncho of Fiesta Mexicana and I collected money from the gringo residents of the road to keep replacing the gravel ...last year 70 loads...none of the other lot campground owners would contribute as they said it was the delgados responsibility. Yet comes the holidays and hundreds of vehicles use it. This year a neighbour went to the delagado and with him called La Huerta and were told there is money there for a bridge.This year I refused to contribute along with some others to try to get the bridge instead of the temporary gravel ...the day before Xmas the road was put in proving how valuable tourism is to all. There are hundreds who live along this road not only gringos but huge Mexican coops of camping ...all who support many vendors and services in town ....so Kim what else would you suggest we try???
