In Melaque, there is an "optometriste", Optica Nueva York, who sells glasses very cheap. His name is Alfonso Hernandez Lopez. I was in there to day, and he gave me a free eye exam (altho I had my prescription from Canada) and he will give me two pair of glasses (one regular, one sun glasses) with new frames for 900 pesos. My wife also got a free eye exam, and will get a new frame, plus progressive lenses for 1700 pesos. We will get the glasses in two weeks. He is located at no 200-9 Gomez Farias. His cell is: 315-100-7361. His shop is across the street from the bus station, in the alley way going to the restaurant on the same side as the bank. Good luck

Correction: My wife I will not get new frames, I have given my old frames to Afonso. We have used Optica Nueva York for many years, and have always been very satisfied
