Humans of La Manzanilla - Santiago

Santiago, a local fisherman, has been climbing our very tall coconut palms and cutting cocos for us for some time.

Yesterday, he brought his son Santiago Junior (6) and daughter Adamaris (10) to help. They are unbelievably cute and so proud of their papa.

Little Santiago junior was so serious and focused on holding the rooe and untying the coconuts - We were bowled over by his helpful attitude

Santiago does great job cleaning up the palms after gently lowering the cocos to the ground.

Great Photo of Santiago and the kiddos...if you have never seen this guy scale a coconut tree you have missed something amazing. He is so agile and quick.. It really is amazing to see him climb up and down these coco palms so easily. Thanks for introducing him everyone David!! Some of my favorite people.
