Bachata Dance Class Monday / Practice Session to Follow
Posted by Stephen Eiring on December 3, 2017, 3:54 pm
In Latin music and dance, Bachata is one of the more popular forms. With its Dominican Republic origins, Bachata has a number of variations, but it is generally regarded as being more of a romantic, couples’ dance. The course is a 4 session, sequential class starting on Monday, Dec 4th at 5 pm. It will be held on the rooftop of David & Debbies’ house, which is the first casa on the beach just north of the crocodillos. No partner or previous dance experience necessary. 1 Hour Open-Dance Practice Session Follows @ 6 pm Open to past students, non-students, and anyone who would like to dance salsa, bachata, merengue, and maybe even some cha, cha, cha. At the beginning of the hour, I’ll give a 5 minute overview of the basics of one latin dance. During the practice, I’ll be available to answer individual questions. Hope to see you there! Stephen (My Salsa class will start in early January.)
