San Marzano Tomato Appreciation Society

If you are a member of the San Marzano Tomato Appreciation Society and did not receive tomato plants in the first batch due to an overwhelming demand, there is yet hope. At present, I have 7 cloned plants rooting in soil and should be ready for transplant in about a week. If you would like a plant or two, send me a private message. If you did get plants, I would love to hear how your plants are doing. My two fruiting plants have about 3 dozen tomatoes today and there are new tomatoes coming on every day. Send me photos of your plants, please. | ------------------------Re: San Marzano Tomato Appreciation Society

Pat, thanks so much for the great feedback on the red pesto. Soon there will be phoenix-like basil from my garden and green pesto as well. This week I am experimenting with smoked fish pate. Be sure to see me at the Friday tianguis for a taste. Because I live in Melaque, I cannot transport the plants by bus. I always encourage happy campers to come to my house on my baking days after four p.m. About that time there is often pizza coming out of the oven that I like to share with my friends. YOU can come, taste what's happening in the Del Monte test kitchen and test drive something new or heck just have a slice on me. Bake days Tuesdays and Saturdays.Don't forget your tomato plants.
