I went out for my daily snorkeling this morning and saw a few Sting Rays. This is the first day I have seen them this year. So this is just a note to suggest that you be more diligent in doing the Sting Ray shuffle when you are heading out for a swim. A few years back I didn't shuffle one day and paid the price. It's not something I want to repeat. These were out in front of Pedro's.

What is the stingray shuffle? Just drag my feet in the sand?

I got a terrible sting 5 years ago while I was showing my brother the ‘sting ray shuffle’! I have done a lot of research on this & stats show 75% of those stung were doing the shuffle! If you get stung, put your foot in ‘as hot as you can stand clean water’ for 20-30 min. & the toxins will leach out & the pain will ease away. You will see me on the beach wearing my ‘dorky looking’ but protective ‘sting ray guards’. (knee to ankle). They are made of a Kevlar type bullet-proof (sting ray proof) material. Order online.
