For fellow weather junkies I offer a couple of sites that have been very educating this hurricane season. For a high altitude animation of the area (and a link at the bottom to see the entire southern coast where development usually occurs). http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/epac/loop-wv.html And the absolute best when something is going on is the Naval Research Lab. http://www.nrlmry.navy.mil/tc_pages/tc_home.html You`ll find satellite shots, usually, within the last hour. Probably the most useful `product` is at the far right of the page under GEO. Look at vapor and IR. If you click on the image to enlarge it, you will be able to see Bahia Tenacatita. Saludos |
