Hi Camila, I have done similar things in Malibu like you are getting ready to embark on and they can be huge projects. Since it is your idea I would suggest that you be the chief and assign duties to others so you can focus on the overall picture. If I may make another suggestion that would be not to have a meeting but to use the message board. You can start with one discussion and then make categories of different discussions if you want to. It will save you a ton of time in the end and prevent you from having to repeat ideas over and over to people who miss the meeting or for those who were at the meeting and do not remember what was said. You will also get input from people who are not here to attend the meeting. Sometimes from people who know a lot about things on the government level which may be a good place to start. You would be surprised at the people who read this message board. It's heartbreaking to do a lot of work and then learn that La Huerta already has something for a community plan for La Manzanilla or has some rules which change all the work you have done. I will be watching the message board and will try to support you and those who work for you as best I can. These kinds of things are really not my strong suit but I will try. Best of luck to you. Adios for now, Daniel |
