Sorry, but I can't resist putting on the weather lady hat one more time because this one is pretty interesting. Yesterday, NOAA was speculating that a tropical depression would develop from this low pressure system south of Acapulco. Overnight, it went from a depression to a tropical storm and may develop into a hurricane by Friday, or sooner. The interesting part is NHC's statement that this is "the first time since 1961 that two tropical storms have formed in the Eastern Pacific in November". Anyway, this could come fairly close to us by Sunday |
