Dear Helga, Yes, I know that about Tamarindo and the trucks etc. but if there would be a way to let owners and visitors know that a real town suffers so that they can have luxury. I think many who would not like it and protect such a situation it might be that if they were more aware they would care --maybe a way to put it on line that it would come up when somone put in:Tamarindo" if doing the wrong thing hurts business, then doing the right thing might be desirable. (Will the water situation will affect them also - the new homes visible ffrom the beach?) Of course you are right, we need to turn off the lights and water. “Every time you flush the toilet you are using more water than most people in the developing world have to use all day.” There must be some good information on line on low cost composting toilets, I will look. |
