It's Fiesta Time! Just a reminder that this Saturday, Feb 3rd, is the 25th Annual Gringo Day and the first of several Fiesta Days. That means lots of great music and dancing beginning on Friday night, Feb 2, with Banda music and the Farola in the square. The Farola advertizes each day of the Fiesta but the first night is the liveliest. Come to the square around 8 pm on Fri to see the fun and join the dance action in the street. Gringo Day Birria is served up in the Casino around 2 pm on Sat. It is followed by great Rodeo activity, more food, and much more dancing out at the Rodeo grounds until darkness falls. For folks who still have any strength left, there's a big, usually very loud, band at night that cranks it out and keeps it going until the wee small hours of the morning. Enjoy Fiesta La Manzanilla 2007! Do you have your ticket yet? XOR |
