Tanny Cooper from Boca de Iguanas got the following notice (listed below both in Spanish and English) from La Huerta, while she was there paying property taxes. EL EJIDO YA NO INTERVIENE EN NINGUNO DE ESTOS TRAMITES Y AL SIGUIENTE DUENO, EL NOTARIO DEBERA EXTENDERLE UNA ESCRITURA PUBLICA. ASI MISMO SE LES RECUERDA QUE DESPUES DE INSCRIBIRLO, CADA ANO DEBERA SEGUIR PAGANDO EL IMPUESTO PREDIAL Y QUE SI SE PAGA ENTRE LOS MESES DE ENERO O FEBRERO, SE HACE UN DESCUENTO DEL 15%, Y EN MARZO O ABRIL, DEL 5%. ---------------------------------- TO THOSE WHO RECEIVED PROCEDE TITLE FOR AN URBAN LOT. BELOW THE DETAILS OF BENEFITS AND RESPONSABILITIES THAT YOU HAVE, THIS TITLE IS SIMILAR TO A PUBLIC TITLE (ESCRITURA PUBLICA), IT IS NECESSARY TO REGISTER IT IN CATASTRO MUNICIPAL (TAX OFFICE) AND TO PAY THE PROPERTY TAX (IMPUESTO PREDIAL), WHICH GIVES YOU THE LEGAL SECURITY FOR THE POSSESION OF THE LOT OR HOUSE.
