Thought I was back in Seattle this morning....you would have felt right at home, Lisa! The only difference is the temperature - 79F/26C at 10 AM and the humidity is a soggy 82%. An area of low pressure off the coast for the past week has meant dark clouds, little sun, gentle rain most of each day and some thunder and lightning off and on to spice things up a little. Rainfall for the last five days has been only 2.28 inches (.35" so far this morning) but July's total is now at 7.96 inches - more than last year's 7.74 total - with more to come. The low pressure system will probably become a tropical depression by the end of the day today but is already too far north to affect us much except for continued rainy days. The Boca guys continually have higher rainfall than The streets are a real mess. Scraping them doesn't |
