The 10 AM update from NHC shows Kiko almost on top of us by Sunday morning. The Mexican government has issued tropical storm warnings for the coast from Zihuatenejo to Manzanillo, and a T.S. watch for the area from Manzanillo to La Manzanilla. It could become a hurricane before it reaches the coast, which is almost better news because it would spin by us faster, but either way it looks like we're in for some weather. Our fancy electronic rain gauge gave out yesterday but the old-fashioned cone-shaped gauge reads 1.5 inches since it started raining last night. Muy bien. Keep a watch on Kiko!! |
