CONSERVATION FUNDRAISER REPORT

Thank you to all of you that supported the Conservation Fundraiser for Tierralegre, and made it the success it was! After expenses, the event raised $25,000 pesos, and certainly did some "fun" raising as well. As promised, these funds will be used to support and improve the infrastructure of the recycling program in La Manzanilla, and for environmental education infrastructure such as interpretive and informational signage in and around La Manzanilla. Be on the lookout for Tierralegreīs first newsletter which will be made available at El Girasol Bistro soon. And, if you registered your e-mail at the event, you will be kept abreast of Tierralegre programs and projects. For those who were not able to make it to the event, itīs never too late to make a donation. Donations can be made conveniently at El Girasol Bistro.
