Insurance: As suggested above, buy in the comfort of your home. You do not want to waste time at the border buying insurance. We always use M B Bravo who is an agent for Genworth Seguros Mexico and is located in Lardeo on the US side of the border. We always deal with Silvia at 956-723-3657. E-M is info@bravoinsurance.biz She has been there for over 25 years. She can take the info on the phone and will e-m you a copy of the insurance on the same day. You will get the hard copy policy in the mail in a few days. I would have the Effective Date of the Policy be the day prior to the date you plan on crossing the border. I will be happy to send you some directions, but would be very helpful to know if you will be driving by yourself, how many hrs. a day can you drive, and what date will you be crossing the border? |
