How fortunate are we to have all these great new restaurants in the little pueblo? Well last night we discovered yet another. Restaurant Jesus Maria Jose...located on the main calle coming into town next to "Estephania" building supplies...or up from the liquor store on the corner. A lovely arbor with tables and palms sits in the foreground with kitchen and more tables located in rear building. The ever gracious Gonzalo and his wife Maria are the owners, chef and waitress. And just wait til you have had a taste of what they are serving. From the delicious salsas for your tostadas to the incredible tacos...great tastes in every bite. We shared a lovely salad and ordered tacos Tamadona, shrimp, mushroom, onions and cheese, just one of twenty taco dishes to choose from. Also available are ceviches, cocktail de mar, sandwiches and sopas. But save room for Gonzalo's desserts too. Had a very yummy flan. Go...eat...relax...enjoy. |
