At least once croc made it back to the lagoon on her/his own volition. We saw the tracks of a large croc which clearly walked/slithered from the surf over the sands back to the lagoon (tracks noted ~9am Feb 13, not sure when the croc made the trip). Pictures of these way cool animal tracks available on request.
