The first time Rusty and I met Abbie was 5 years ago. We had been called to help a puppy that had been hit by a car here in La Manz.
Knowing the prognosis was very poor and being a Sunday night with no Vet close by we came to your house to see Abbie and to see what we could do to make this little guy more comfortable. She was the most compassionate person I have ever met.
Abbie told us something I will share since it made a profound impression on both Rusty and I. I asked her " How is it that this puppy with a crushed pelvis and obviously internal injuries can be so loving and content in our arms. He must be in terrible pain."
Her answer... " The human touch given with love and compassion can help dogs endure many things. Take him home and give him more love tonight. That's the best you can do for him."
Abbie is in our hearts forever.
