Ah, yes I forgot to include travel with dogs. I used to stay at the Hotel Parador up above the old "centro" in Zacatecas and they let me keep Sadie in my room for an outrageous extra $300 pesos. About 3 years ago all hotels, motels in Zacatecas agreed to a rule of no mascotas!!! We ended up spending the night in Fresnillo in a real dump of a notel.. To native mexicans...Zacatecas is the historical city...much like Boston is to the USA. It was voted a UNESCO world landmark in 1995. I live in Santa Fe, founded by Zacatacas in 1592. |
