....the best rainfall we've had since June - steady rain that went on until about 3 AM. We recorded 1.29 inches here and Boca Bob called this morning to say Boca got 1.7 inches. CNA reports approx. 3.7 inches of rain for Manzanillo yesterday(!). Their weather report for today calls for "intense" rain, high temperatures, variable wind. The satellite looks about the same as it did yesterday morning so that may be a pretty good prediction. Jon, we live on the little hill directly above the church. Saturday night we left the house to go to Martin's about 7:15 PM. It was pouring then and continued for about 15 or 20 minutes after we arrived but stopped soon afterward and, when we left about 2 hours later, no rain at all - just very large puddles on the streets. Our rain gauge didn't register any additional rain that night. I can't explain the difference in weather in your part of town, but you're not very far away from Martin's (si?) - so its muy mysterioso. |
