cisco linksys tech help

Does anyone out there have any experience with Linksys/Cisco Wireless Routers and Range expanders for wireless internet networks? Am trying to extend wireless capability in a three level home here in La Manz.... have almost up and running, but are experiencing a glitch - fluctuating bars and inconsistent connection. I think I need a 'Tech Geek'. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
