Buddy...if you are using this board for advice as to the liklehood that your kids will survive your vacation...I'd like to talk to you about some great real estate adventures tailored to your partculer interests...

Bottom line...you're silly...you can't have it the way you are proposing...and, Mexico may be too untamed and too unpredictable...

Travel in the tropics imposes increased risks to all involved...when I traveled Central America in the late '70's with a 3 year-old, we all spent time getting yellow fever shots, took those awfull malaria pills, etc.,...and we came back with stories that put chills into the new travelers...but, they were just ordinary experiences for us...

Last year we had a visitor cancel a trip because her co-workers didn't want to be near her upon her return...they had heard of the dreaded Mexcan Swine Flu...and we are still waiting for it to show up...

You might be best served by asking your local public health department about travel in the tropics...and then get in line for the vacinations they suggest.

If you ever get here, I hope you enjoy yourselves.
