Joe's eye injury

I wanted to send a report on Joe’s eye and thought this would be the best way to get the message out. He is doing way better, today he had an appointment with an ophthalmologist who did a very thorough exam of his eye. Apart from Joe being ‘very lucky’, he says the eye is healing very well, and he sees no permanent damage. Joe is seeing almost normally in that eye now, and the blood has all but disappeared. I have so many folks there to thank for helping us out those last days when we were trying to close up the house and leave. We appreciate each one of you who came over to help, or just called with good wishes. We are so blessed to live in a great community with wonderful friends. Thank you all so much. Barb and Joe
