Rainfall data...

Here's all the data we have for rainfall since 2004:

2004: first rain: June 20th - 3.71/inches
June total: 3.91/inches

2005: first rain: June 29th - .08/in.
June total: .38/in.

2006: first rain: June 6th - 1.88/in.
June total: 3.84 inches

2007: first rain: June 12th - .59/in.
June total: .71/in.

2008: first rain: May 29th - .02/in. (May total)
next rain: June 10th - .48/in.
June total: 1.50/in.

2009: first rain: June 18th - .03/in.
June total: 5.52 inches

There does seem to be some correlation between early rainfall and yearly totals:

2004: 20.14 inches total
2005: 25.40
2006: 37.42
2007: 32.11
2008: 41.56
2009: 26.48

Maybe someone can find data on La Nina/El Nino
years and how they may have affected these figures.
