Good questions, D, and I look forward to responses. My understanding is that the bank trust holding fideicomiso is more like a Safety Deposit Box than a guarantor that the title held is valid. Someone correct me, but I believe you could put a sack of seed or rice or soil in bank trust and the bank would hold if for you as long as the fees were paid. The bank's exposure/liability is limited to returning in like condition that which was held. |
