In the Louisiana woman (Kindra Arnesen) video she talks about |
a 60 minutes Australia program which is no longer available.
That is true, they have the transcript but have removed a program called The Poison Tide.
I assume that is because it shows things that BP does not want seen.
I found some of those things on a www.aladding.com/newsDetail.cfm?postid=496714 - Japanese web site and http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2010/06/scenes_from_the_gulf_of_mexico.html The Big picture
and here so I wonder what was so bad about the program?
I think its common knowledge that BP is restricting press and public access and
suppressing information, but this is the first time I have not been able to find
a video which was on the Internet at one point. When I said this event was
going to get bigger I did not really think that controlling the Internet
was going to be part of it, but it is. This is something I thought was a
couple years off, it goes to show the power that these corporations have.
This is why in my first post I said "It would seem that more regulations would
be the first thing on the list to do. It's not. The first thing on the list is
to keep the Internet what it is today".
While we do have it, lets use it, not just on the oil spill but to find out
just how deep this rabbit hole goes!
thanks to yrugay for the above links.
