Perfect trip back to the US

With all the bad news I thought all should know that our trip back (driving)to California was perfect. No problems, no hassles, good roads and no major delays from construction. A caravan of 6 Army vehicles seemed to be following us the whole way. It was fun to wave and joke every time we caught up with them. We did find a snake in our motel room in Phoenix Arizona. It was small, but still--does that say something about Arizona??? Our fearless cat Spooky alerted us to it's presence and I carefully caught it in a towel and returned it to the 112 degree outdoors. I think it was escaping the HEAT!!! Why does anyone live there? Good luck to all of you back in La Manz. We hope for much rain and little wind. See you in October. |
