D or Japanese Housewife..here's a thought! I belong to a number of forums and as we deal with our guitars and stuff, it is nice to know who is reading information about the stuff you've got. I know for a fact that the "bad guys" have read local BB's in other parts of Mexico and used the info to assist themselves in criminal activities.

Really there aren't that many folks using this BB, and it should be really easy for the moderator to set up a forum entry for the users. Name and password for entry, you could have any username that you wish to be known by, but anyone in the forum should have access to a real name for the "username" nickname: bink, davethewave whatever.

Some might say that this prevents outsiders entering the BB and requesting info such as: how to drive to La Manzanilla, and yet why not allow them to sign in "under moderator security" as a"guest"?

It sure would allow more transparency (political word of the day), and anyway most of us know each other already. We could even do facebook stuff about ourselves but that might not be possible under the forum software.

I don't know...D what do ya think? bink
