I assume most of you are aware there has been some kind of police or other action in Tena yesterday. We've heard the road has been barricaded, people have been escorted from their homes, without their possessions. Posts and fences have been bulldozed, the word is that the houses will be bulldozed today.

Mexicans and gringos alike are all affected. This isn't just the restaurant area, like in the past. And it doesn't appear to be the ejido. They are losing their homes and land too.

If anyone has any facts or knows first-hand information, we'd love to know. Unfortunately, we own (owned?) a lot there. Several friends of ours have homes.

News, anyone. And pictures would really be appreciated!
