More rain!!

An impressive thunderstorm around 5 AM dumped .48/in. of rain so our August total is now up to 12.09 inches. With only one day left to go it's
doubtful that we'll break the Aug. 2003 total of 13.16 inches but this has been a really great month for rain. More rain is predicted for later today so who knows? Temp at noon is 84F/28.9C with 75% humidity - a little on the steamy side, but it's a beautiful, bright sunny day and I'm sorry everyone who reads this board can't be here to enjoy it with us.
