Dumb Land Questions

Hi All Having resisted buying land in Mexico for over 20 yrs because of title doubts I feel sadly vindicated as the dreams of many , local people and gringos alike..... are crushed. I have loved this grand bay like no other place in the world and feel sick at heart over these news posts. Not being in real estate , I have a few probably silly questions I hope someone knows the answers to. I believe I have for the past number of years seen Century 21 and ReMax signs posted in town and in Melaque. Are these people registered represntatives of these companies ? If yes , do they have the backing of these companies using their company names. If yes , can they be brought into the fray to back sales that went through their companies ? OR were these signs put up to relay a false sense of security for the foreigner sweeping in to take part in a land boom ? Just one more avenue to explore .....it might help if some sales went through these companies.
