| We had rock slides on the road, but those that were the first over the hill, didn't have any trouble clearing them. More exciting was that the beach was packed with people today when a croc was sited for the first time in our Bay (at least the first time my neighbors had noticed in their 30 plus years here). Apparently, the lovely debris washing into La Manz and Cuastecomates is from the Villa Obregon opening of the lagoon in an effort to fill the lagoon with salt water to kill that noxious growth. This is a good faith effort but, as usual, there are unintended consequences -- like spreading the noxious weed along the coast. |
