| Willy is correct, in 2008 the fed.gov. made this ruling that autos/trucks must be exactly 10 years old on the year that they are imported into mexico. This is in response to mex. car dealers who don't want newer vehicles imported when you can buyem right here in mex. Also anything 11 years old is thought to be a gas drinkin polluter and would eventually be scrapped when parts couldn't be obtained. Funny cause I thought old cars would help out all the local mechanics. |
